Hi Everyone!
Last week I received a SquareHue subscription box to review. I love nail polish, but I’m super picky on brands I like or dislike so I knew with reviewing SquareHue, it would be a very honest one!
About SquareHue, each month on (or around) the 15th you’ll receive a box in the mail with 3 different nail polishes. The monthly box is 14.99$, and 9$ shipping for Canadians. So in total is 23.99$ a month for 3 polishes.
When I opened the box, I was surprised at how much nail polish they actually give you. The bottles are generously sized.
I applied the nail polish on a “naked” nail. No base coat, and I didn’t use top coat either, so I could see how long it lasts on its own. So add a day or two if you use base or top coat.
The polished lasted about 4 days. By the fourth day, I needed to change them. I didn’t hold back, did countless amounts of dishes, bathed the dog, mopped the floor. It barely chipped up until the fourth day.
Two more points; the nail polish is super hard to “ruin”. With some brands, if you put too much polish on your nail it will bubble and be ruined. I purposefully put too much polish on one nail and it stayed smooth, which is a huge selling point for me! SquareHue is also very pigmented. You could probably get away with one coat (although I did two) but even the light colours didn’t need a million coats to match the bottle colour.
All in all, I loved the polishes from SquareHue. I am personally considering subscribing to them to continue to receive these great polishes. I highly recommend them!! They’re now one of my favourites, right beside OPI!
(p.s, SquareHue sends you a little card to put swatches of the polishes they send you, so you can keep it for future reference, love this!!)
