The holidays are just around the corner and people everywhere are currently organizing their holiday travel plans. If you have ever travelled with a child in tow, you know much prep work is involved. One thing that is always a worry is how to keep my kids entertained for long periods of time.
1 in 5 Canadian parents say one of their main concerns when travelling is keeping their kids entertained.
We have all been there, the never-ending voices in the back seat saying “Are we there yet?” and “I’m bored”. Now you can keep them happy and occupied with Netflix on the go! Simply download your kids favourite Netflix episodes on your phone or tablet and you’re set!
We have compiled a list of a few travel essentials that we think will be useful while travelling with kids.
You will need a phone or tablet and download your kids favourite Netflix shows. Do this before you leave for your trip. This way, you won’t be using your phone data 😉 Don’t forget to bring headphones for each device.
You will definitely want to bring along some snacks that aren’t too messy. We suggest goldfish crackers, mixed cereal, cut up fruits and veggies. Don’t forget to bring a sippy cup with juice or water.
A few small but quiet toys are also a good idea – little characters from their favourite shows, toy cars, etc…
Netflix favourites for little ones – Beat Bugs, Octonauts, Super Monsters.
Snacks; Fruits, veggies, granola bars, applesauce (or other fruit) pouch, cheese string,
Fidget toys, colouring book and crayons,
Netflix Favourites – The Magic School Bus, Troll Hunters, Skylanders Academy.

Also bring a good book, word search and a pen, adult colouring book.
