You are probably wondering what is Nanoblock?
Plain and simple, Nanoblock is exactly what its name suggests. They are micro sized building blocks. They are 1/8 the size of a standard building block.
About nanoblocks
Introducing the world’s smallest building blocks! Developed in Tokyo, nanoblock has a patented double feather design to lock pieces firmly together and let you build in greater detail than ever before. Each set includes anywhere from 100 pieces to more than 5800 pieces. Try nanoblock, the biggest little block in the nanoverse!
Nanoblock is a mico-sized building block system with its smallest piece being a mere 4mmX4mmX5mm. Challenging and fun for all the construction enthusiasts in the family, nanoblock lets you build in greater detail than ever before.
My kids love playing with building blocks like lego, and they make some very neat things with them, but they are to big to put out on permanent display. Nanoblock is the perfect size to do just that! Build and display your creations without taking up to much space.
With Nanoblock being just 1/8 of the size of a regular block, you don’t have to worry about running out of space.
I received the Space Shuttle and Elephant to review.
Each Nanoblock package comes with instructions and all the blocks required to create.
My 2 older kids and I had fun putting them together.
The Nanoblock is marketed for children 12+, and I do not recommend getting these for any children younger then 8 years old! The blocks are really small, and should be kept away from younger kids and pets.
Just be sure to not loose any pieces, as they will get lost easily. They may be small, but I am sure they hurt just as much as regular blocks when stepped on 😉
I really love these, they make nice additions to a desk or display on a shelf or a display case. My husband picked up the space shuttle after it was done to have a look at it, and a few blocks fell off. So, I think this one will be put up on a shelf for people to look at, but not touch.
Nanoblock’s make a great bonding activity that you can do with your kids or spouse. (You know you would love to play with these yourself)
They also make a great gift for any child or adult who loves playing with building blocks. (and keeps them busy for a few hours)
You can purchase NanoBlock at ToysRUs,Target,Sears and Mastermind Toys.
