Hi All!
Today I received a MunchPak in the mail to review. This is one of the most exciting packages I’ve received in my mail box, simply because it’s a package of just snacks! The snacks are from all around the world and range from savory snacks to sweet candy. It took all my willpower to wait until my boyfriend got home to try anything, it all looked so intriguing!
MunchPak Mini contains 5+ full size snacks and costs 9.95$
Original MunchPak contains 10+ full size snacks and costs 19.95$
FamilyPak contains 20+ full size snacks and costs 39.95$
You can get your MunchPak shipped once a week, once every two weeks, or once a month! Or, if you put a single order in and not a monthly (or weekly, you get the idea..) subscription, they’ll send it out right away once they put the box together for you!
You can be surprised for each MunchPak you receive and let the wonderful people behind this company pick your snacks, or you can use their personalization tool to choose categories you’d prefer more of, or less of. Category examples include chewy, sweet, spicy, nuts, meat, and so much more!
Oh! and lets not forget the ‘add a drink option’, for 5$ more add either coffee or tea to your MunchPak. Drinks do not count against how many snacks you’ll receive. So if you choose to add a drink, and get the MunchPak Mini, you’ll still receive your 5+ full sized snack and your drink.
psst, did I mention you can pay with Paypal!
Okay, so to show you what I received..
First off are these Eiffel Bon Bons. I totally had to go get a stock photo from google because I saw they were blue raspberry flavored (my favorite!) and kinda, maybe, possibly, tore up the bag and ate a bunch before I could take photos. They were delicious, and i’m actually looking at buying these myself. These snacks are from France.
These were the weirdest things I have ever tasted, but possibly the best! They’re crackers, but they’re onion and vanilla flavored. Yeah, I just said onion and vanilla. They have a super mild green onion taste, but sweet because of the vanilla. Super good! My boyfriends favorite. These are from Taiwan.
These are date filled bars from Saudi Arabia. I was honestly expecting something along the lines of Nutrigrain quality, but I was happily surprised. The outside pastry tastes likebuttery pie dough, and the inside has a nice date mixture. It’s not overly sweet, actually, it’s not very sweet at all, but it was yummy!
With my boyfriend and I both being sick this past week, it made me chuckle to receive candies filled with liquid vitamins! It doesn’t have large amount of vitamins so you can snack on them for a sweet fix, but it’s neat! Kind of the consistency of Halls Centers throat lozenges. These are from Poland.
So these were the most confusing snacks of the bunch. You unwrap them, and then they seem to have another wrapping, so my boyfriend and I were trying to peel that one off, only to realize it was edible. They’re probably my least favorite out of everything. Small gummy chews. (As i’m writing this I see on the side of the box “each candy has an edible inner wrapper that melts in your mouth” doh!) These snacks are from Japan.
Scallion, Sugar,Sesame and Pumpkin are the main ingredients in this snack bar. They’re also from Taiwan. I honestly wonder if its a thing there to mix onions with sweet, because it works! This was another one of my favorites.
All in all, I would definitely order a MunchPak for myself and my boyfriend as a treat. He actually asked me after we tasted these all, how much it was to subscribe, and was surprised when I said only 10$ for the mini pak!
