When I was 16 years old, I got my first job working at a breakfast restaurant and my job was minding the waffle station. That’s right, for 9 hours out of my day I made Belgian waffle for customers on request. When I found out I would be reviewing this, It brought back many memories.

Let me say that it’s not like riding a bike. I hadn’t made a waffle in over 13 years! It was a lot of trial and error. Not enough batter, too much batter… But once you get the hang of it, the waffles start flowing and the people around you start smiling of enjoyment.

Note: If you put too much batter, the waffle maker will POP! open even though it’s in the locked position. I thought it had broken but luckily it hadn’t. So be very careful.

  • Adjustable temperature.
  • Bending handle for storage.
  • Drip tray.
  • Steady base.
  • Non- stick surface.
  • Easy cleaning.
  • Make more than just waffles.

  • Bending handle for storage doesn’t clip straight while in use.
  • Unit is protected by styrofoam (not environmentally friendly)
  • Unit pops open when waffles expand (would need a better latch system)

The whole family enjoyed eating these,  it was definitely a pleasant change from our regular Sunday brunch. We had a lot of fun topping them with fruits, ice cream, chocolate and maple syrup but the fun doesn’t have to stop there.

Did you know?

You can use your waffle maker for more than just waffles. Try making one of the following;

  • Grilled cheese (pictured above)
  • Quesadilla
  • Hash browns

To sum up, I would absolutely recommend this waffle makers. It’s a great little appliance to have handy to entertain the kids. I love letting them top their own waffle and I enjoy watching their little faces while they eat them. Pure happiness.
