Hi Everyone!
I’m going to be reviewing another nail polish monthly subscription box today! This one is Glitter Guilty.
Just some general information on Glitter Guilty.. :
- Glitter Guilty is woman-run and donates a portion of their sales to Grameen Foundation.
Grameen Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps the world’s poorest, especially women, gain access to financial services, life-changing information, and self employment opportunities to help them escape poverty and become self-sufficient. You can learn more about Grameen Foundation at http://www.grameenfoundation.org/
- In a typical Glitter Guilty box you will receive ; a nail polish picked just for you, depending on the colours you like/don’t like. A mini bottle of polish, that everyone receives that month. Also, 1-2 guilty pleasure treats to enjoy while you paint your nails! During the cooler months they’re usually chocolates from small businesses (chocolatiers), and during the warmer months it’s some non-melting snacks.
- Glitter Guilty ships out the 1st and 2nd of the month.
- You can choose to receive a box for one month, 3 months or 6 months!
- Boxes are only 15.99$, and that includes shipping!!
Now on to my personal review ..
The company sent me a box last month, actually, but it seemed to be roughed up in the mail and as soon as I opened my mail box and got a waft of nail polish coming at me, I knew something was wrong. They sent me out a new box, no questions asked! Great service, if I do say so myself.
I opened the second box and found everything neatly placed with some decorative paper.
I tried out the nail polish, and while the formula is good (two coats needed) it’s not exactly my style for nail polish. To me, it’s more of a nail polish I would use on a younger person.
The lip scrub (the little jar) was great! It tasted good, too. And the oreo dipped in caramel then white chocolate was ah-may-zing!
All in all, this type of nail polish isn’t my style, but i’d recommend it to people with smaller children in their lives who like getting their nails done!
* P.S, if you’re looking to order this subscription box and you’re in Canada, to be able to ship it to your location you must add a monthly subscription box to your cart via “Send a gift” not “Subscribe”.
