India is a South Asian country that is often forgotten about. People chose to go to the Asian countries such as Thailand, the more commercial ones. The people who do choose to go to India however, have the absolute best time of their lives. It’s an absolutely manic place to visit, and it honestly will be a journey you will never forget. It’s cheap as well, which is always a bonus! There’s so much of India that you could explore, and it even holds one of the eight wonders of the world! There’s so much fun to be had in the Indian sun, so let’s explore what you could get up to.
Places To Stay
It all depends on what part of the country you’re going to visit. Some have better places to stay and things to do than others. For example, Raipur is a bustling part of India with plenty to do, amazing food, and amazing people. Hotels such as the Courtyard Raipur would suit you. If you were to travel somewhere such as the city of Agra, then you could try and get as close as you possibly can to the Taj Mahal, Some Indian hotels give such amazing views of it, and wouldn’t it be nice to wake up looking at that every morning. What we will tell you is to make sure you’re careful of staying in some lower end hotels. They can be rather strict, and a lot of them not in the best quality.
Having Fun
So, the first thing we need to talk about to try and convince you to take a holiday here is naming a few of the best things to do. Now, it all depends on where you’re going to stop. If you want to go and see one of the eight wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, you would need to go to the city of Agra. It is one of the most bustling cities with plenty to do. When you’re done basking in the marvel of the huge Taj Mahal, you could hop on the back of a taxi bike and get whizzed around the city. It’s nerve-wracking. You’ll never experience traffic or crazy driving like it, but it’s why it’s best left to the locals. New Delhi should also be on your hit list. It’s the most common place for tourists to visit, and there’s plenty to do. Here is one of the best places to have some of the nicest food you’ve ever tasted. On a full belly, you can go looking round one of the many tombs, museums, and structures that represent Indian culture.
The Indian Sun
There is one thing we need to warn you about if you’re travelling to India, and that’s to pick your timings. If you go at this time of year, for example, you’ll be struggling with 40-degree heat every single day. Keeping yourself protected, and staying indoors at peak times during the day is essential. Hydration is also key. The amount of people that have to be admitted to hospital with severe sunstroke is incredible. Don’t underestimate the power of the heat!
It must be amazing I would love to travel to India someday, love to see the wildlife and try all their foods!
Trip of a lifetime!
