As you may have guessed, our founder had the “aha” moment to create FinderCodes when he lost something himself. This time it was his dog, Emma, whose tags hadn’t been updated after a recent move. - 1 Medium Tag with stainess steel ring
- 1 Small Tag with Stainless steel ring
- 3 Adhesive Tags
- 2 Power Cord Adhesive Tags
From the Menu, tap on New Tag, scan the QR on the tag you wish to use first.
Enter the category and name of the item your tag will be on. You can also enter details, a reward and a message for the finder.
Now slap on the tag to the item and thats it! you are done!
Repeat the steps for each tag. It really is simple.
The finder will also have the option of contacting you through email, text or call to return your item.
- The finder scans your item’s FinderCode tag or enters it on the FinderCodes website.
- Once you and the finder agree to use Re-Turnit, simply fill out a brief online form with your shipping preferences and payment information.
- The finder receives an email with instructions and a map of the nearest FedEx Office locations.
- USA only
- The finder brings your item and the email to a convenient FedEx Office location.
- FedEx Office packages and ships your item and sends you the tracking number.
- Canada only
- The finder prints the FedEx shipping label attached to the email.
- The finder packs the item, attaches the shipping label, and drops off at the nearest FedEx location.
- FinderCodes emails you the tracking number.
- Once the item has been delivered, FinderCodes will bill your credit card.
Easy right? There are no cost to the finder.
I ran out of items to put the tags on, so I decided to use one on our dog. FinderCodes do have one specifically for pets, But I had an extra tag that I didn’t know what to put it on, so I thought why not! Our dog is special to us, I don’t know what we would do if he would ever get lost.
The FinderCodes really are great and gives you more of a chance to get your lost items back.
