My Daughter LOVES helping in the kitchen, she loves baking and cooking!
Up until now, she has mostly only helped with baking. (greasing pan, placing cookie dough on pan, placing muffin cups in baking tin and mixing ingredients together)
Now that she is 5, going on 6, I let her help out a bit more.
She learns pretty quick, she knows to wash her hands before and after touching food,
Last night, she helped with making diner. We made a casserole. She helped with making bread crumbs, mushing tomatoes and helped adding everything to the dish.
She is showing more interest in cooking.
Last night she told me ” I want to help you cook every night”
Do you let your kids help with cooking?
I don't but she helps with dishes nd cleaning
Yes my daughter has been helping in the kitchen since she could stand on a chair. I think she was around 3 when she was cracking eggs! She is going to be 6 in Sept and wants to cook all by herself.
I've been getting my son more involved in cooking meals and learning to prepare some things for himself. He's interested in learning so it's great.
Kira just turned 7. She loves to help in the kitchen. She gets to help a couple times a week, we don't make it a regular thing but she does participate if baking of any kind is going on.
Yes, they are more likely to eat it and it gives us fun time together.
Yes I do let them help out in the kitchen. They love baking
