The Senses 2.0 Digger includes 3 short, narrow tubes, 2 long, wide tubes, a stable base and a rubber mat to lock the product in place. The tubes have rounded ends, making them easy to use and clean. Meet Fish. Fish is one of my special needs cats. He was diagnosed with liver and kidney disease last year and it is very important for him to keep hydrated and to eat small portions frequently.
Fish, was already a big fan of a Catit 2.0 product. Being obsessed with the Catit Senses 2.0 food tree, I knew Fish would probably like the Catit digger. We were very excited to try it.
Assembly was extremely easy. I hadn’t even put kibble in the tubes yet and Fish started putting his paws in them to investigate.
The Catit Senses 2.0 food systems have now replaced Fish’s food dish because he refuses to eat from it. He finds it much more interesting to “play”, “hunt” and “search” for his food than simply walking towards a dish full of kibble. It makes us happy because Fish takes his time to eat, collecting the kibbles one by one. Although he loves it, he eventually gets tired which makes him eat smaller portions several times throughout the day just like his veterinarian wants him to.
The Digger is super easy to disassemble and clean. Catit recommends hand-washing each part with natural soap, free of chemicals or abrasive solutions and rinsing thoroughly.
