Cascade Ice – Zero Calorie Sparkling Water + Recipe!

I watched a documentary a few days ago, and it was saying that sugar is the leading cause of obesity in Children.  That it’s such an epidemic, no matter how much they are active playing, they’ll continue to be obese (and get more obese) because just consume such a great amount of sugar.

Alternatives ;  you have water.  That’s it.

When Cascade Ice asked me to show you their line of beverages, I was excited.  This is such a great alternative to sugary drinks.  (stay tuned,  “after bedtime” recipe below!)

Cascade Ice is a zero calorie, sugar free, carb free sparkling water that packs a punch, when it comes to flavor.  Who knew being healthy could be so fun?

Cascade has 22 delicious flavors, and I was privileged to be able to try four of them.

I loved them all, except coconut.  I really hate coconut-anything.  My boyfriend, Ryan, enjoyed it and said it was refreshing… so that’s great!
I found the Black Raspberry to be a little strong, so I diluted it with some water and made double the drink – woohoo.  If I had paid for it, I’d be really satisfied with myself for getting 2 drinks for the price of one.

Pink Grapefruit was my favorite,  and I could automatically tell that it would be perfect with some red Sourpuss for an “after bedtime” beverage.

Here’s how I made it…

Glass,  with a lot of ice.

Shot of Sour Puss;  to be honest i’m not even sure
how much I added.  Just a bit (or a lot- I’m not judging)

Fill to the tip with Cascade Ice Pink Grapefruit and voila!

If you were wondering what happened to the orange mango flavored Cascade Ice,  I have to admit it never made it to testing.  Ryan tried it and I couldn’t pry it back from him.   I was told it tasted like Orange Crush, the soda.

All in all, I would very much recommend these sparkling water drinks to anyone,  especially those trying to cut the amount of soda they drink.  They’re the perfect alternative to unhealthy sugar laden drinks that the whole family can enjoy.
