If you grew up in the 90’s, i’m sure you know what BLO Pens are. Well, they are back and they are just as awesome as I remember! I LOVE that more and more toys from my childhood are making a comeback and I get to share them with my own kids.
Create works of art from just blowing into them and create an airbrush effect. Blow soft strokes or hard strokes to make the colours stronger and watch artwork created before your eyes.
These are perfect gifts if your kids are into arts & crafts. You don’t have to only stick with using them on paper, you can use them to decorate just about anything. The possibilities with these are endless! I also think these would be awesome to use to make greeting cards.
A feature we really like about Blopens is that they can also be used as regular markers. Best of all, they are washable and non-toxic.
Use the stencils and your imagination to create amazing designs rich in colour.
There are different sets you can purchase,
- Pack of 3 Blo Pens + 10 Stencils (SRP $5.99),
- Pack of 3 Blo Pens + 10 Stencils + 2 Blo Pen Bonus (SRP $8.99),
- Blo Pen Blaster (SRP $13.99),
- Blo Pens Desk Display and Stencil (SRP $14.99),
- Blo Pens Blaster Activity Set (SRP $17.99 / $29.99).
With Blopens Blaster you can use your Blopens without blowing into them. I think this is a great feature especially for younger kids. Just place the blaster on the Blopens, squeeze, and watch your drawings come to life!
Blopens are available across Canada at Toys ‘R’ Us, Indigo and Mastermind Toys.
We think these are a perfect addition to any craft kits and a perfect gift for any occasion!

These look like a lot of fun. Might have to pick one up for a gift! Thanks for the review!
I think that my grandchildren would have a ton of fun with these. Thankfully they’re washable as I couldn’t guarantee that the walls stay paint free 🙂
I have kids that grew up in the 90s and they loved this! I think a couple of my grandkids would be old enough to use them now!
These look like so much fun! My kids and I would enjoy using them.
This looks like a lot of fun and I have a granddaughter that would love playing with this!!
I remember these! I loved them as a kid. I think my kids would like them too.
We bought the Blopens Kit for my son’s birthday and all but 6 of the pens (15 pens total) were dried out and wouldn’t work. Hardly worth the money as the pens are not rechargeable.
