About The Product I Received :
I have a really uneven skin tone, and it’s especially bad when i’m not feeling well, like a migraine (which I get often!) or just a plain ‘ol sickness. I took this photo as my ‘before’ as it’s a true photo of what I often look like. Patchy skin, and what isn’t pictured is the millions of under-the-skin pimples, blackheads, giant pores and dry patches. Fun fact : my worst place for dry patches? My EYEBROWS. I have no idea how that works. I get such bad dry skin there that it flakes.. it looks like dandruff of the eyebrows, but it’s just dry skin. I also have eczema patches on my face. All in all, my face was in rough shape before I tried Nerium. Granted, it’s not ‘too bad’ in comparison to what I imagine some people have to deal with, but in my world, it was pretty bad.

I don’t wear foundation, cover up, BB/CC cream.. I have such sensitive skin that I have yet to find a brand that works for me AND has my shade (I’m extremely pale!) A little story : I found a foundation in my shade at the drug store. I bought it, and for 8.99$ I was in heaven! I put it on in the car, I was so excited. I couldn’t even leave the parking lot, my face was on FIRE. I went to my Mom’s house, which was just up the road, to take it off. My face looked sunburnt. It was so bad. I went back to the store, with the bottle of foundation and they just took a look at my face, and gave me back my money. I told you all this story because I have no way to cover up my skin. My skin is so sensitive that I can’t cover it up with face-makeup, so when I have a bunch of blemishes, I have to deal with them.
I was skeptical for try Nerium/Optimera (aren’t I skeptical about all products I review? ha ha) because for one, it had to go on my super sensitive skin, and two, it seemed too good to be true.
Brittney was honest and told me it had a weird texture, so to make sure to apply it to a damp face or else it would just.. not spread. I could deal with that, if it meant magic in a bottle! So every night for 4 weeks I put it on before bed. 4-5 pumps of the product on my face and neck.
Ok I lied, I forgot a bunch of nights, about 1/4. But I tried!
It’s been over four weeks, and I’m very impressed with the results. I still get blemishes. I woke up this morning with a big fat pimple on my chin, the morning I had to take my “after” photo, of course.. but that’s my second pimple in four weeks.
I woke up with a headache this morning, and my skin is a tad red, but nothing compared to what it was before. No more eyebrow flakies, the eczema is -what appears to be- gone, and my skin is smooth, no craters sized pores on this girl!
I can only imagine the results I would have had, if I used both the day and night cream. I have heard amazing things about the day cream. I heard the a lot of people stopped using face-makeup because the day cream instantly smooths complexion.
This is my “after” photo. My skin is so much better!!
