We all lie, some of us more then others -*cough* my ex *cough*. Everyone lies, its just our nature. Sometimes its little white lies like “No, I didn’t eat the last cupcake” and other times its big elephant sized lies. We lie for different reasons; to get out of trouble, to avoid hurting someones feelings or just because we want to seem more interesting.
My kids have been lying a lot lately. When you ask them who did it, they always say “not me” – Who is this “not me” fellow, and where is he hiding?
Some days they lie (or try to) about doing their homework, just so they can get extra time to play or watch Netflix.
Speaking of Netflix, did you know that there are some interesting shows and movies about lying on Netflix?
Have you seen Bloodline yet? I have not, but it is definitely on my “to watch” list.
The Rayburns, from the new Netflix original series, Bloodline, have some dark family secrets they’re willing to do anything to keep from coming out — lying included.Starring Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights) and set in the Florida Keys, the series follows a family caught between the ugly truth and the terrible lie that covers it up.
Take a look at the official trailer of Bloodline.
Doesn’t it look interesting? I may just have to watch this tonight after watching the trailer again.
