Warm Up This Winter With Chic Choc Spiced Rum

If you frequent your local liquor store, you may have come across Chic Choc Spiced Rum.  What you may not know, is that Chic Choc is made right here in Canada!

Chic Choc Spiced Rum is made using premium agricultural rum and a selection of Nordic Quebec spices from Quebec’s own Chic Choc Mountains. Chic Choc Spiced Rum redefines the industry standard and is the first ever spiced rum to originate from Quebec. Daring and adventurous, Chic Choc is the perfect complement to a variety of cocktails.

Nordic spices:

  • Peppery Green Alder
  • Pine Forest Spikenard
  • Whiterod Berries
  • Lovage Root
  • Sweet Gale Seeds
  • Wild Angelica

This is a very unique spiced rum that tastes like no other.

Upon opening the bottle, you get a pleasant whiff of a mix of spices.

When trying Chic Choc Spiced Rum, I noticed a taste of vanilla and cinnamon. It reminded me of those spicy cinnamon hearts I always buy around Valentine’s Day. The taste is phenomenal! I have never had spiced rum quite like it.

We tried Chic Choc with different mixes; Root beer, Pepsi, warm apple cider, iced coffee, fruit juices and egg nog.

I have to say, I loved the taste of chic choc mixed with iced coffee. The root beer mix came a close second.  It’s a little sweeter than other spiced rums. Because of the sweeter taste, this is perfect for drinking on its own, on ice or chilled.

Chic Choc Spiced Rum is the perfect addition to parties, gathering, gifts and just because.

If you have not tried it yet, head to your nearest liquor store and pick up a bottle. I highly recommend Chic Choc Spiced Rum, even if you’re not a rum type of person, you will love Chic Choc.

I am not much of a drinker, but it sounds interesting to mix Chic Choc rum with almost anything to give it an added kick. Thank You for your review 🙂
