Playmobil Summer Fun

Do you have a little one with a summer birthday?  One of the most asked for gifts from my son, Jayden, is Playmobil.  Whether it be for his birthday, Christmas, Easter or just because he ALWAYS asks for a Playmobil set.  I understand his love for Playmobil.  Whats not to love, imaginative role play and super fun!

We had the pleasure to play with some new sets this month and let me tell you, it wasn’t only the kids playing with them 😉

Cruise Ship

Hop abroad the PLAYMOBIL Cruise Ship for the holidays of your life. Be greeted by the ship’s captain, settle in your ensuite cabins, and decide which activity to do next: sliding down into the swimming pool, sunbathing on the sundeck or enjoying a meal at the bar. As the cruise sets sail, wave goodbye and enjoy the view.

Playset includes cruise ship with two ensuite bedrooms, reception desk, bar, fillable swimming pool (shhh don’t tell my kids you can put water in the pool), sun deck and cockpit, and many more accessories!

The lower deck (the bedrooms) pulls out giving you more room to play.

There are tons of tiny accessories and plenty of stickers to add to the ship and accessories that add to the fun of this playset

We had a blast playing with the cruise ship!

Ghostbusters Firehouse

Something strange in your neighbourhood? Call the Ghostbusters Firehouse! Here you will find Spengler mixing up his current ghost-fighting mixture in the lab, Stantz keeping a close watch on the Library Ghost, and Janine answering all your ghostbusting calls. When the call comes in, watch them race into action sliding down the fire pole to the garage. And don’t forget to lock up all ghosts in the Ghost Containment Unit.

The Ghostbusters Firehouse has 228 pieces and is one of my favourite sets so far, despite a little annoyance I had while assembling the stairs (more on that in a minute).

The firehouse comes with four characters, a ghost, and so many accessories!

The details and accessories in this set are amazing!  Many accessories for hunting down ghosts, including a detachable proton pack and proton laser, ghost trap, silicone slime splatters, and more!

I love how detailed the stickers are, they make everything look more realistic.

The firehouse features a garage door that slides up and down – perfect if you have the Ecto-1 vehicle! (available to purchase separately from Playmobil)

As you can see in the photo above, the stairs are missing. They were extremely hard to put together. I tried for a good 10 minutes to figure out how to put the pieces together, but I didn’t have enough strength.  I think the stairs should come pre-assembled, or a little easier to put together.

The fire house stands at 18 inches tall, so it’s pretty big, and offers lots of room for hunting ghosts!

If there’s something strange in your neighbourhood – Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
