Disney Tsum Tsum is the name of a range of collectible vinyl toys based upon Disney characters (including characters from the Disney owned Star Wars and Marvel franchises). The name is derived from the Japanese verb tsumu meaning “to stack”, because the toys are shaped like rectangles and designed to stack on top of each other, forming a pyramid shape.

Every Disney Tsum Tsum comes with a collector’s guide to keep track of your Tsum Tsum collection. Check the box next to each Tsum Tsum you collect. Yellow is common, orange is lucky, red is super lucky and green is ultra super lucky.

The first package we opened contained a small Lotso (super lucky), our mystery character was a medium Destiny (common) and a large Fear (super lucky).

Our second package contained a small Flynn Rider (lucky), our mystery character was a medium Scar (common) and a large Mowgli (lucky).

And finally, our last package contained a small Randall (common), our mystery character was a medium Simba (common) and a large Scar (common).

The excitement of opening the mystery characters got to all of us, kids and parents alike. The thrill of opening a Tsum Tsum that we didn’t have already and getting to check it off the list is so thrilling. Sure stacking them is fun, but collecting is even more so.
